Lets all be environmentally friendly!\n\nSome green things:\n- if you know you\'re going to be away from your computer for only a few hours, turn it on hibernate, don\'t turn it off. Turning your computer on and off really used up a lot of energy\n- cleaning gets rid of dust mites that are air pollutants (make sure to use natural cleaners [pine oil])\n- 1/4 baking soda, 1/2 vinegar can clean your drain (don\'t use unnatural chemicals)\n- buy in bulk\n- make a compost bin with non acids (vegetables work well)\n- only buy things within a 500 mile radius. The energy is takes to transport goods is rediculous\n- a full fridge saves energy\n- don\'t use non bio degradable packaging like bubble wrap or beans\n- buy sustainable materials (natural laytex, wool, down feathers, horsehair, buckwheat, cotton [watch for pesdicides], hemp, natural linoleum, stone, and silk [be careful where you get it from, Indian countries have started burning silk worms alive to get them to secrete more silk], wood, ceramic tile, bamboo [local], concrete, cork)\n- spider plants take pollutants out of the hair (brown tips mean it\'s working)\n- TV should be 10-15\' away from your bed (radiation)
