A short movie combining live action and claymation that I made way back in 1990 with my NEW VHS camcorder! The RCA CC310 ProEdit Camcorder had an animation recording feature and audio overdubbing built in. The whole movie was edited in camera. That is, it was shot in sequence, including the animation, so I would have a first generation copy when I was done. The friend that acted in the first scene had to come back a week later in the same clothes to do the last scene. This video won first place in two U.S. Video Magazine Competitions and was showcased in Camcorder Magazine Dec 1990 and Video Maker Magazine Feb 1990.
