A_Tribute_to_Marc_Bouchard

This is a short tribute to my father, Marc Bouchard. He recently passed away on February 22nd, 2008 in his 68th year. It was his wish for his family to perform \"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain\" at his funeral. Myself, my wife Sharon, my brother Andre and our good friend Tom Brennan performed the song at the end of his service for approximately 150 respectful friends and family that all made a sacrifice in some way to be there. Andre\'s wife and my Sister-in-Law, Lynn created beautiful lyric sheets to pass around the attendees. We played it through once and invited the entire assembly to join in for a second run. It was a beautiful moment in time.\n\nAbout this recording and video:\n\nIn order to practice and get it right I put together a quick reference recording using Garage Band and my beautiful wife Sharon sang the lead and harmony tracks over my sloppy guitar and pre-canned drum track.\n\nAfter I had the recording I had an idea that I am so happy I ran with. I had already scanned many pictures of Marc\'s life and realized that I could do something with the scans to share with his family and friends during our remembrance time to hopefully bring some smiles and maybe trigger some memories. Some healing nostalgia and reminiscence is always healthy. I looked at my iPod Touch and my iMac and discovered how easy it would be for me to put together a video using the scans, reference practice recording of \"Blue Eyes\", and iMovie.\n\nI passed my iPod Touch around at Marc\'s Funeral and \"afterparty\", with a set of headphones and no one could watch it without smiling and crying.\n\nMany blue eyes were crying, but it wasn\'t raining.
