Rob_McDougall__\"Better_Luck_Next_Time\"_(Original_Song)

Sooo generally I\'m pretty unoriginal, but I somehow wrote a song not too long ago...this song to be exact. That\'s a first for me. It didn\'t come out as country sounding as I would have liked, but oh well! It\'s about somebody who\'s about to break up with somebody else, and who is tired of dating and breaking up with people. I wrote it about a friend of mine...or something. lol\n\np.s. I had to put that picture in just so you know who was singing/playing. \n\n*Lyrics*\n\nI tried not to think\nAbout the way that this would end\nAnd it\'s not my thing\nTo act like it\'s okay, no I don\'t like to pretend\n\nWell I\'ve been here before, at least a time or two\nMaybe not with you girl, but after a while\nIt\'s all the same to me, it\'s like déjà vu\n\nAnd though I told myself you were the one\nI\'ve come to terms\nWith the fact that taking that step always leads to the\nSame old lesson learned\nSo I\'ll swallow my pride, go back to the start\nForget what\'s lost\nAnd I\'ll wish my heart, better luck next time\n\nWell we had our fun\nSo don\'t take this the wrong way\nBut I think you\'ll agree we\'re at the end of the road\nThere\'s nothing left to say\n\nWell I\'ve been here before, at least a time or two\n\'Cuz I\'ve got that feeling\nAnd maybe you can\'t tell\nBut I know this feeling all too well\n\nAnd though I told myself you were the one\nI\'ve come to terms\nWith the fact that taking that step always leads to the\nSame old lesson learned\nSo I\'ll swallow my pride, go back to the start\nForget what\'s lost\nAnd I\'ll wish my heart, better luck next time\n\nAnd even though this is nobody\'s fault\nI can\'t help but feel\nThat I should\'ve known\nThat my heart would misguide me again\nBut it felt so real\n\nAnd though I told myself you were the one\nI\'ve come to terms\nWith the fact that taking that step always leads to the\nSame old lesson learned\nSo I\'ll swallow my pride, go back to the start\nForget what\'s lost\nAnd I\'ll wish my heart, better luck next time\n\nYeah maybe next time\nThere\'s always next time
